The thought
After studying the success of IMA–NSSS and APPA, senior dental surgeons of Andhra Pradesh began work on a fraternity scheme of our own.

A dream project of IDA Andhra Pradesh State.
Family Benefit Scheme is a welfare activity for dental surgeons under Dental Surgeons Benefit Trust. It is not an insurance scheme. You pay only when a colleague dies or is permanently unable to practise.
This scheme is designed not for how much we benefit — but to show concern for a colleague in eventuality.

FBS is launched
Family Benefit Scheme opened under Dental Surgeons Benefit Trust. DSBT is registered under the Societies Act, Document no. 63 of 2021, identification 6-615-63-2021.

A family of 2,000+
Enrolments have crossed two thousand. The committee’s horizon is 2,500 members by December 2026 — so each eventuality is a stronger shelter.

Accidental death & disability
Maximum sum insured ₹5,00,000 per life for accidental death, and ₹5,00,000 per life for permanent disability.
1% of sum insured, or ₹5,000 per week, or actual weekly salary — whichever is less — for temporary total disablement.
